What you’ll be doing:
* Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
* Managing compliance to processes while bringing passion and flair for great shopkeeping and customer service.
* Ensuring every customer gets the food they want, helping us be the first choice for food.
* People management, including performance management, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring accurate scheduling and pay.
* Assuming overall responsibility for store operations at times, providing direction and support to colleagues to deliver excellent service.
What makes a great food manager:
* Experience in line management within a fast-paced, operational environment.
* Ability to deliver excellent customer service and coach a team to do the same.
* Proven track record of meeting KPIs and performance indicators.
* Experience managing disciplinaries, performance issues, and employee relations.
* Capability to lead operations independently in the absence of senior management.
