Job Description As a global people relations & compliance function, we manage approximately 7,000 employee relations cases, globally, per year. This ranges from disciplinaries, grievances to absence management (short and long-term) and everything in between. We’re also responsible for all restructure activity globally (e.g. redundancies, TUPEs). The compliance function manages critical projects involving background checking and visa and sponsorship management. All cases are managed in ServiceNow (‘SNow’). The Global People Relations & Compliance Data Specialist is a newly created, standalone, role with the aim of supercharging the team’s data offering. Initially, the role will focus on a top-to-bottom review of current data infrastructure and requirements gathering. At the same time, there would be an expectation to manage current, ongoing, data requirements. Thereafter, the role should focus on the development of reports/dashboards (look and feel and automation). The final element of the role will be to ensure that the appropriate team members are upskilled sufficiently, and reporting tools built, such that all the work of the previous 12 months can be taken forward and maintained. All the above will apply to both data internal to the team (e.g. current project tracking, legal spend etc) and external stakeholder requirements. The purpose of this role is not to analyse the data but to produce first class reports and dashboards, presenting the data in an engaging way, meeting the requirements of the end-user. This role will have primary responsibility for the global people relations and compliance data ecosystem. This will include: Conducting a full review of current data infrastructure – including how data is captured and stored in SNow - and recommending improvements; Ensuring that there is a clear view of data requirements for all key stakeholders; Ensuring that all internal and external data requests are managed in a timely manner through the development of tailored reports and/or dashboards depending on the requirements of the end-user Responding to ad-hoc data requests; Attending project ‘kick-off’ calls, where appropriate, to understand data requirements; Suggesting improvements and constantly innovating how data can be produced and used; Ensuring that guides and report-building tools are created to ensure that data reporting capability continues in the future; and Producing compliance reports/dashboards to ensure legal risk is minimised.
