We’re currently seeking a Data Centre Maintenance Supervisor to join our client’s maintenance team at a high-profile, mission-critical site in Hemel Hempstead. As the Data Centre Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations on-site. Your duties will include scheduling subcontractors, quoting for site projects, allocating tasks to your maintenance team, reporting to the Account Manager, ensuring all critical systems are functioning optimally, and providing technical support to engineers.
To succeed in this role, you should hold relevant qualifications in electrical installations or engineering (City & Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent), have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial building maintenance, strong knowledge of critical plant systems, and proven experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
Data Centre Maintenance Supervisor Duties:
Supervise a team of maintenance engineers
Ensure completion of planned preventive and reactive maintenance tasks
Allocate and manage PPM schedules
Monitor and verify plant lifecycle and performance
Support the Building Services Manager with technical and operational duties
Conduct regular client meetings and resolve outstanding issues
Identify and scope additional maintenance works
Manage and schedule subcontractor attendance
Respond to out-of-hours emergencies as required
Data Centre Maintenance Supervisor Requirements:
Fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ, EAL or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial building maintenance
Prior experience in a supervisory or lead engineer role
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Experience working in a critical environment - Highly desirable
Salary and Package:
£55,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm
