Technical Sales Engineer
Working with a leading tooling specialist our client manufacture and supply a range of industries including Automotive, Aerospace and General Engineering with precision cutting tools.
This is a field / office based position covering the Midland region.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers within an agreed region.
* Conduct site visits, technical consultations, and presentations to understand customer requirements and propose solutions.
* Prepare and deliver detailed new quotations proposals
* Build and develop new business opportunities and customer network.
* Work with design and production teams to develop bespoke solutions.
* Provide post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
* Manage customer projects from initial enquiry through to delivery and aftercare.
Requirements
* Familiarity with CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and process optimisation.
* Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
* Experience in aerospace, automotive, or motorsport manufacturing environments.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and strong understanding of machining strategies.
* Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and occasionally abroad.
