THE ROLE OF REGIONAL SALES MANAGER:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to lead, coach, develop & drive a team of 5 field-based Sales Representatives across the South East. This role is pivotal in delivering regional sales growth, driving distribution, and ensuring best-in-class execution to their valued customer base which includes clients in the health care, education, leisure, manufacturing & F&B sectors.
You will be responsible for translating national sales strategy into clear regional plans, managing day-to-day field activity, coaching and developing your team, and ensuring targets are consistently achieved. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships and maximising opportunities within your region.
Your day to day will see you either out in the field supporting your team with client meetings, or working from home, with the expectation to be based from company HQ once per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on sales leader who enjoys building high-performing teams and making a tangible impact on business performance.
ABOUT YOU:
Essentials:
· Proven track record managing and developing a field-based sales team
· Strong experience working for a distributor with a multi-category offering
· Ideally sold into one or all of the key verticals they sell into - Health Care, Hotel/Leisure, Manufacturing & Food & Beverage.
· Commercially minded with a results-driven approach
· Comfortable analysing sales data and using insights to drive performance
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Full UK driving license
· Based within or easily commutable across the South East region
WHAT WE OFFER:
· Basic Salary between £50-60k
· Performance-related bonus - up to £15-20k
