Salary: Up to £34,000 (DOE)
Puro Associates are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing accountancy firm in their search for an experienced Payroll Senior to join their busy Payroll Services team in Exmouth. Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients (weekly and monthly)
* Review the work of payroll administrators, ensuring accuracy and high service standards
* Liaise with clients to obtain payroll information and provide auto-enrolment support
* Handle payroll-related payments and bank submissions
* Support the Head of Payroll Services with day-to-day operations
* Coach and mentor junior team members, supporting their development
* Contribute to process improvements within the payroll function
Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years’ payroll experience within a UK practice
* Strong end-to-end payroll processing knowledge
* Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior staff
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Confident IT user, including strong Excel skills
* Experience using Sage Payroll (essential) and Xero Payroll (desirable)
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
