Youwillworkunderthesupervisionoftheseniorpropertystandardsandemptyhomesofficertoinvestigateandresolvecomplaintsofpoorhousingconditionsandundertakeinspectionsofcaravansitesandtakeappropriateenforcementactiontoensurecompliancewithappropriatelegislationandregulatoryrequirements.
YouwillalsoberesponsibleforthemaintenanceofthePrivateSectorHousingteamscomputerisedrecordssystems.

1. Toimprovethequality,safetyandchoiceofresidentialaccommodationinElmbridgeandmeetingtheCouncilsresponsibilitiesundertheHousingActsandotherlegislation.
2. Toensurebestuseofthehousingstockbyminimisingthenumberofemptyproperties.
3. Toprovideanexcellentservicetoowners,occupiersandtenantsinalltenuresthroughactionbyarangeofinterventionstrategies,includingenforcement,educationandadvice.
