Overview
We are looking for a Regional Information Security Officer to implement, run and oversee the information security function across the identified regions, ensuring consistent and strong information security management in support of business goals and in line with the global Information Security strategy and direction. You will be the main point of contact for security matters in your region and will assess the effectiveness of security controls and propose improvements aligned with the global strategy.
Responsibilities
* Implement, run and oversee the information security function across the countries and Tunstall entities within your scope, ensuring consistent and strong information security management in line with the global strategy.
* Be the main point of contact for security matters in your region and assess the effectiveness of security controls (technical, process, people) in scope, proposing improvement plans in line with the global strategy.
* Enforce the global cyber risk framework, align with stakeholders, prioritise and mitigate key cyber risks, and maintain the risk registry.
* Support group-wide initiatives to roll out new controls or improve existing ones.
* Embed security in regional project delivery processes by providing policies, practices, guidelines, and oversight.
* Collaborate with business units and global InfoSec functions to support audits and ensure success; support incident management and incident response activities as needed.
* Liaise with Data Protection Officers on data protection processes and data privacy issues.
* Report KPIs and metrics to senior leadership and help inform security posture assessments.
* Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate
* Substantial IT and technology experience with leadership in cybersecurity within complex multinational organisations.
* Deep understanding of cybersecurity market, trends, risk frameworks, standards and regulations.
* Experience in coaching, leading and motivating high-performing teams; strong communication skills.
* Ability to manage complexity and make decisions with limited information.
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics or equivalent experience.
* English proficiency (CEFR C1).
