Senior Residential Support Worker
Salary Package: Up to £34,145 per year
Basic Salary: £30,545 (includes £40 per sleep-in) + Performance Bonus: Up to £3,600 per year
Shifts: 2 on, 4 off (10:00am starts, sleep-ins included)
Location: Chipping, Preston PR3

We are recruiting Senior Residential Support Workers to join our dedicated teams in residential children’s homes in Preston This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to progress in residential childcare, develop leadership skills, and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and organise shifts to ensure structure, consistency, and smooth operation.
* Support, mentor, and guide a team of Residential Support Workers.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with children and young people with EBD.
* Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies.
* Promote a safe, homely, and positive environment for children in care.
* Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, regulatory standards, and Ofsted guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience in residential childcare or supporting children with EBD.
* Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (Level 4 preferred or willingness to work towards).
* Passionate about delivering therapeutic care and improving outcomes for young people.
