What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take ownership of the monthly reporting cycle, drive improvements across financial processes, and provide the insight the business needs to grow confidently and sustainably.
Core Responsibilities Include:
* Owning the full month-end process, delivering accurate and timely management accounts.
* Producing detailed analysis, KPIs, commentary, and insights for senior leadership.
* Preparing budgets, forecasts, and cashflow models, challenging assumptions and improving financial visibility.
* Business partnering across operational, project, and commercial teams, translating financials into clear, actionable information.
* Supporting the development of financial systems, controls, and reporting tools to drive efficiency and accuracy.
* Delivering variance analysis, cost reviews, margin analysis, and trend reporting.
* Assisting with year-end processes, audit preparation, and statutory compliance.
* Improving processes across AP, AR, payroll, and treasury to streamline workflow and strengthen governance.
* Leading or contributing to ad-hoc commercial projects, modelling scenarios, and supporting strategic decision-making.

* Advanced Excel user with experience of modern accounting systems.
* Ability to work independently, take ownership, and influence through insight.
