Responsibilities
* Supporting with the client’s evening routine.
* Assisting with removing and applying continence pads.
* Assisting the client to prepare prescribed medication in a pot and measuring cough meds (no administration required).
* Assisting to apply cream on legs.
* Assisting to change from day clothes into nightwear.
* Selecting and laying out clothes for the following day.
* Assisting to prepare bed time drink.
* Occasionally assisting with household tasks such as loading/unloading dishwasher and washing machine.
Qualifications
* Having a caring, proactive and motivated attitude with a passion for supporting others.
* Positive attitude and good work ethic.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience desirable but not essential.
* Dog friendly, as there is a young, very friendly Border Terrier in the house.
* Ability to commit to part or all of the required hours between 7 pm and no later than 9 pm.
Hours & Pay
This is a part-time position for 7 hours per week, typically 1 hour per day Mon‑Sun (bed call). The client is open to applicants who can commit to part or all of these hours but the hours should take place between 7 pm and no later than 9 pm.
Hourly rate of £12.71 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme.
