Overview

Pegasus Group welcome applications for our 2026 Graduate Training Scheme in Edinburgh. You will join the Biodiversity team in our Edinburgh office, working on a variety of projects for diverse clients. This scheme offers valuable exposure and a supportive training environment to start your career.


What we’re looking for

We are looking for you to hold a relevant degree in Ecology or a related environmental discipline. We are seeking graduates who can demonstrate:

* A logical and analytical approach
* Great problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to use your own initiative and to think outside the box

Work experience in Biodiversity would be advantageous but is not essential as you’ll be learning your new role on the job with support from our Graduate Training Scheme.


Role responsibilities

As Graduate Ecologist, you will work closely with the Biodiversity team to support on a range of ecological projects, and you’ll manage aspects of projects across sectors such as infrastructure, residential, commercial, and renewable energy. You’ll contribute to a range of projects with several clients at any given time and provide high-quality advice and service to support development and delivery.
