Overview
Property Manager – Brent (Temp, Full-time). This is a full-time, office-based, temporary role for three months, with potential for extension, covering a patch across Barnet, Brent, and Camden. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality property management services, fulfil landlord obligations, and provide exceptional support to residents in multi-occupancy and self-contained dwellings.
Responsibilities
* Be the primary point of contact for residents, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining property standards and compliance.
* Manage tenancy allocations, issue tenancy paperwork, and minimise void rental loss.
* Conduct regular property inspections and ensure maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
* Resolve customer complaints, disputes, and anti-social behaviour effectively.
* Monitor contractor performance and ensure service delivery meets required standards.
* Enforce good housekeeping and fire safety practices among residents.
* Maintain accurate property records and tenancy agreements.
* Maximise rental income through proactive arrears management and achievement of KPIs.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in a similar property or housing management role.
* Strong knowledge of housing law and relevant legislation.
* Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and report-writing tools.
* Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities to manage workload effectively.
* Basic DBS clearance is essential.
Contract & Compensation
* Temporary contract for an initial three months, with potential for extension.
* Full-time, 35 hours per week.
* Pay range: £24.50 per hour LTD company rate. PAYE equivalent £20.89 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
