About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary and supported living care services in Cheshunt. This role is ideal for a committed professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care to the people we support, meet the expectations of the local authority, commissioners, and regulatory bodies. You will be responsible for maintaining our high CQC standards (currently rated Good), managing our care coordination team and support workers, and ensuring consistent, safe, and effective care delivery across the service. Key Responsibilities Fulfil CQC Registered Manager requirements within the first 6 months. Ensure compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. Lead, supervise and appraise a team of care staff and coordinators. Develop and implement person-centred care plans and risk assessments. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data protection compliance. Manage rotas, timesheets, payroll deadlines, and staff absences. Respond to and manage complaints professionally and in a timely manner. Promote safeguarding, equal opportunities, and health & safety standards. Participate in on-call duties and cover for managers/coordinators when required. Attend and represent the organisation in reviews, forums and meetings. Drive the growth and development of care packages and new opportunities. Essential Requirements NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) A minimum of 3 years experience in the care sector with at least 2 in a leadership role In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health & Social Care Act Experience managing dispersed staff teams and coordinating care services Excellent communication, organisational and people management skills Strong problem-solving ability and confidence working under pressure Good IT skills including MS Office (Word, Outlook) Own transport with business insurance cover Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings/weekends What We Offer Competitive salary Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing service Supportive management team and ongoing professional development Flexible working arrangements 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) Pension scheme About You You're a confident, motivated and compassionate professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.
