Our team and the individuals you'll support
As a Support Practitioner, no two days are ever the same; you'll be part of a fun, friendly team who supports five amazing and unique individuals with profound learning disabilities and complex needs to live in their shared home.
This is a hands-on role working closely with the individuals, ensuring that they feel safe, understood and empowered in their every day lives.

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and SSSC yearly registration fees too!
Shift Patterns
We’re dedicated to providing the best support possible, so shift patterns usually fall between the hours of - hours. Weekends, public holidays and occasional waking nights are worked on a rotational basis.
Waking nights are paid at your normal hourly rate plus an additional £20 for every waking night worked.
If you don't live in Strichen and are not a driver, we will need you to be mindful of the location of our service and be confident that you can travel for your shifts as there are very limited public transport links available that fit with our shift patterns.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
