Aspire People are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Warwick, including the Rugby area. We are recruiting for both full-time and part-time positions, with opportunities available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting the learning and development of children and who thrive in a classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-class support to teachers and pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience and preference.
Deliver targeted support for pupils with additional needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
Support children's academic and emotional development through one-on-one and group work.
Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting engagement and good behaviour.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Prior experience working within EYFS, KS1, or KS2 in a primary school setting.
Experience supporting children with SEN and/or EAL is highly desirable.
Flexibility to work across different year groups where required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach to supporting teaching and learning.
Essential Requirements:
A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Up-to-date Safeguarding Training, or willingness to complete this prior to starting.
