Buildings Main Contractor in 10 different countries entering a growth phase. A forward thinking Talent Manager is needed as projects come thick and fast.
Description
Reporting directly into the Head of People you will be responsible for a small team in the Head Office.
Leading from the front in everything you do from pre-screening interviews, agency supplier reviews, upskilling your recruitment team providing internal and external training.
You will hands on manage and handle the offer process for candidates earning annual packages between £(phone number removed) Per Annum across the group. You will have the soft skills, commercial acumen and experience in the industry to have a genuine “gut feeling”.

Role is most certainly not for the faint hearted as it will involve travel, multi-tasking, working to deadlines and managing pressure internal and external.
You will need to be highly organized, target driven and focused at work, for the right person this is an exciting opportunity. However it is not for someone thinking they are taking the “easy option” of going internal as the internal management will want results.
You will have a track record within agency and in-house talent management. You will understand the dynamics of construction professionals, characters and end clients within this fast paced world of construction.
Running the following:
* Search & retained assignments
* Internal talent pooling, advertising and headhunting
* Engaging with the PSL Of external agencies
* First screening interviews to ensure that you are protecting the key stakeholders
* Training & development plans for your talent & recruitment team as you grow the groups capability across the geographical sectors.
* Advise management on industry trends and insights that are appropriate to business success
* Working alongside the Human Resources Department Look at staff retention schemes, bonus incentives and employee engagement
Role
* Reporting into the Head of People you will hands on do, drive and grow the groups recruitment capability
* You will have a dotted line CLOSE to the real decision makers in the Commercial Director, Head of Pre-construction, Safety & Operations / Projects
* You will be given the financial backing & support to make change be that technology, systems & growing the staff under you
* If you have a good idea and it can make a positive impact it will be supported – provide real tangible business cases and drive through to completion
* We want this person to be based in the Head Office which is located within 45 Minutes of HP8
* Client is looking to appoint this person to start before the 18TH of August 2025

They would like this person to be based near to the office just outside of Chorleywood Junction 18 on the m25 (West London) Due to the nature of the role and fast paced environment they are not looking for anyone that’s based further than a 45 Minute commute .
Part of your role will be to get the buy in from managers and stakeholders to help in all aspects of the role.
