Job Description Lead Engineer Altera Recruitment Group is partnering with a pioneering Clean-Tech scale-up that is rethinking how advanced materials are manufactured and reused. Their technology is already running at pilot scale. The first full production system is now being built. They need a Lead Engineer who wants more than just another project. This is a chance as the Lead Engineer to take real ownership of a flagship industrial machine and play a defining role in scaling breakthrough sustainable technology into commercial reality. You will not be another cog in a large corporate structure. You will be the person who makes it work. What makes this different Taking full technical ownership of a large scale production machine from concept to commissioning. You will shape how engineering is done as the company grows, with a clear path to building and leading your own team. Working across mechanical, electrical and process systems in a genuinely multidisciplinary environment. You will see the direct impact of your work on sustainability, cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency. Who this suits An all round Lead Engineer with 8 years in special purpose or process machinery. Someone comfortable designing, specifying, integrating and getting hands on when needed. Someone motivated by building something long term, not just maintaining what already exists. What you'll receive: A salary of £55,000-£70,000 depending on experience.
