Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Estimator / Tenderer to support our growing pipeline of projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can take ownership of the tendering process—from initial enquiry through to submission—ensuring competitive and accurate bids.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for HV electrical projects.
* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for LV electrical projects.
* Review tender documentation, specifications, and drawings.
* Produce comprehensive tender submissions, including pricing, programs of work, methodologies, and supporting documentation.
* Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
* Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost‑saving measures.
* Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools.
* Attend pre‑ and post‑tender meetings as required.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in estimating/tendering within the high‑voltage (HV) electrical sector.
* Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, substations, BESS sites, renewable industries, critical infrastructure.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Commercial awareness and strong analytical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications
* Proficiency in cost estimation, risk analysis, and tender preparation for technical projects.
* Strong understanding of High Voltage and Electrical Commissioning principles.
* Experience working with energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure‑related projects.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier and client interactions.
* Organisational skills and attention to detail for managing project documentation and submissions.
* Proficiency in project management tools and estimating software.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical environment.
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
