Pay from £ per hour (upwards dependent on experience - see salary details)
40 hours per week, must be available weekends also
Café hours: 9am–5pm, 7 days
Cygnet is seeking an experienced, hands-on multi site Supervisor to support the running of multiple high-volume café sites across Midlothian and East Lothian.
Our award-winning visitor attraction cafés proudly hold 5* Visit Scotland awards and serve fresh, homemade food including soups, scones, salads, sandwiches, hot meals, cakes, and Nespresso coffee. We are passionate about delivering a consistent 5-star customer experience across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen
* Prepare and deliver food efficiently and consistently during service
* Produce homemade soups and scones
* Maintain food safety standards (COSHH knowledge required)
Front of House
* Serve customers professionally and confidently
* Lead the team to maintain organisation, cleanliness and service standards
* Ensure procedures are followed across all sites
What We're Looking For
* Proven supervisory experience in hospitality
* Confident leader who leads by example
* Reliable, friendly and hardworking
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Strong understanding of cleanliness, food safety and customer service standards
Training will be provided, but experience is essential in both kitchen, counter and lead by example.
