Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis (25 hours per week). This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who can work independently while also contributing effectively within a small, supportive team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting software, with a focus on providing accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
* Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
* Manage and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Support year-end processes and liaise with external accountants.
* Implement and maintain efficient financial systems and processes.
* Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as required.
About You
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent), or qualified by experience.
* Strong track record of working independently and self-reliantly, with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to collaborate within a small team environment when needed.
* Previous experience with owner-managed or small businesses is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of their unique financial and operational challenges.
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to provide clear, actionable financial advice.
* Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
