Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join our established team in the role of a Patient Care Navigator. This role will assist our patients by facilitating their journey, help direct them and look at considering more appropriate services. You will be based at our GP surgery and will be the first point of contact for our patients and we would like the individual to always provide a friendly and supportive environment for patient and visitors. This role will mainly be based within our reception team with also a few hours working in the admin team.
Main duties of the job
This role will include
Liaising with patients on the telephone and the front reception desk
Actioning clinical tasks
Workflow incoming mail
Processing repeat prescriptions
Assist the GPs to whilst they are processing patient online triage requests
Associated admin work within the surgery

1. The Grove Medical Group is a large GP practice in Gosforth with approximately 13000 patients. We are looking to employ a Patient Care Navigator for 37 hours to help provide support to our patients and clinicians.
