About the Role
This is a full‑time permanent position based in the School of Engineering at the University of Warwick. We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (Teaching‑focused) in Embedded System Design, Digital Systems and FPGAs.
Responsibilities
Teach existing and new modules of the highest quality within Electrical and Electronic Engineering, including:
Engage with higher education pedagogy, develop novel teaching methods, and embrace changes in teaching technology and expectations.
* Digital Systems Design
* High‑Performance Embedded Systems Design
* Computer Architecture and Systems
Flexible Working
We will consider applications for part‑time or other flexible working arrangements (e.g. job share) despite the position being advertised as full‑time.
Qualifications
• PhD or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
• Breadth and depth of specialist knowledge in Electrical/Electronic engineering, particularly digital systems, embedded systems design, and FPGAs.
• For Associate Professors: in‑depth understanding of own specialism to enable the development of new knowledge and understanding within the field.
