Overview
The Westin London City Spa Therapist role (4 to 5 days) is based at The Westin London City, 60 Upper Thames Street, London (Central), London, EC4V 3AD. The property offers wellness-focused hospitality with 225 guest rooms, suites and residences and a commitment to guest well‑being.
Responsibilities
* Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products.
* Provide body treatments to guests using body scrubs, wraps, and/or hydrotherapy.
* Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service.
* Arrange workstation, treatment room, and/or drapes.
* Frequently check with guest to promote comfort, safety and security throughout service.
* Promote and sell spa/salon services including retail offerings related to the Spa.
* Handle inappropriate guest behaviour by following Marriott International standard operating procedures for Inappropriate conduct for guests and therapists, leading up to and including stopping a treatment or service and informing supervisor/manager.

To succeed in the role of Spa Therapist, you will need the following qualities and skills:
* Is passionate about beauty and the wellness industry.
* Will carry out an in-depth consultation with each client prior to treatment, ensuring medical history and concerns are identified.
* Will perform all treatments to an exceptional standard, as per Heavenly SPA protocols and standards taught in training, whilst tailoring to the client’s specific needs.
* Keeps up to date with current techniques and modalities related to their field of work.
* Has a positive attitude, and is flexible and adaptable to different working shift patterns and conditions.
* Preferably has two years or more experience in a similar role within a spa environment.
