Parts Advisor - Norwich
£15 per hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor to join our team at Volvo Truck and Bus in Norwich. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to support our busy parts department.
Trainee applications are welcome — full training will be provided for the right candidate
What we are looking for?
For Experienced Candidates:
1. Previous motor factor, automotive, HGV, or commercial vehicle parts experience
2. Strong IT and administrative skills
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills
4. Good organisational ability and attention to detail
For Trainees:
5. Enthusiastic and willing to learn
6. Good communication skills
7. Basic IT skills
8. Interest in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry
The role
As a Parts Advisor, you will play a vital role in keeping our customers’ vehicles on the road. You will be responsible for:
9. Supplying parts to workshop technicians and retail customers
10. Identifying parts using manufacturer systems
11. Processing orders, invoices, and payments
12. Managing stock control and goods inward
13. Maintaining excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
14. Ensuring accurate record keeping and system updates
