The Requirements of a Sports Recruitment Consultant
10. Recently graduated from university with a 2:1 or above
11. OR Strong A-Level results
12. Excellent work ethic evidenced by previous work experience
13. Excelled in something; sports, drama, music etc
14. Strong communication skills both written and verbally
15. Self-starter, self-motivated and goal orientated
The Role of a Sports Recruitment Consultant
Once trained by a senior mentor, you will become an expert in your role as a recruitment consultant. On a day-to-day basis, you will be doing the following:
16. Finding and qualifying candidates using all the tools and resources provided
17. Writing and publishing adverts
18. Headhunting ‘A grade’ candidates through various platforms
19. Building candidate market maps
20. Booking and running candidate meetings
21. Lead generation and conversion
22. Building relationships with hiring managers
23. Establishing your own brand through your own marketing materials
