Job Summary
The Passenger Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers during their journey. This position involves assisting individuals, particularly those with mobility challenges or special needs, to navigate transport services effectively. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and demonstrate a commitment to providing a positive experience for all passengers.
Responsibilities
* Assist passengers with boarding and alighting from vehicles, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Provide support to individuals with disabilities or special needs, offering guidance and assistance as required.
* Ensure that all passengers are comfortable and informed throughout their journey.
* Communicate effectively with passengers to understand their needs and address any concerns they may have.
* Collaborate with transport staff to facilitate smooth operations and enhance passenger experience.
* Maintain a professional demeanour while representing the company positively in all interactions.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both passengers and staff.

* Strong customer service skills, demonstrating empathy and patience when interacting with passengers.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear interaction with diverse groups of people.

Requirements
* Must be able to gain a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate
* Must be able to complete mandatory training including First Aid, Safeguarding, Promoting positive behaviour
* Previous experience is not required
This role will involve mandatory training to be successfully completed before employment can begin, all training will be provided upon successful interview.
This position is TERM TIME and PART TIME only.
Minimum 20 Hours per week with statutory holiday pay included and option to join enrolled pension.
