School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering.

Our major building and refurbishment programmes are providing enviable teaching and learning resources, outstanding laboratory provision and leading IT resources. The Department of Computational and Mathematical Sciences manages a well-established portfolio of Computing courses and modules covering Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Data Science and Mathematics. In addition to this, the department also offers its courses transnationally and is delivered from a variety of locations.

It is committed to providing high quality Computing courses whilst maintaining the University's aspiration to be the University of Opportunity. Candidates should be willing to share the University's core values of creating a learning environment that is inclusive, challenging and promotes collaboration, professionalism, and confidence.

You will be expected to focus on the continuing development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Department of Computing and Mathematical Sciences. You must be willing to travel to international partners and have expertise in at least one of the following subject areas:

* Software Engineering

* Cybersecurity

You must have a PhD in Computer Science or closely related subject. Membership of a professional body will be desirable.

You will be expected to work in a multi-disciplinary team of professionals/academics and also work very closely with all (academic and non-academic) staff at School and University levels.
