External candidates applying for this role must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the Borough of Rochdale Rochdale Children s Services are looking to recruit Business Support Assistants on a permanent and a temporary basis to provide excellent administrative and financial support across both Children s Social Care and Early Help and Schools. This includes working with multiple partner agencies which includes GMP, NHS, Legal Services and Schools Depts etc. The 12 month temporary post is covering the absence of the postholder. Please NOTE: Previous applicants need not apply. About the role The Business Support team play an essential role in supporting colleagues across the Children s Service directorate. As a Business Support Assistant, you would be providing administration and financial support to Social Workers, Team Managers, Service Leads and some multi-agency partners. Supporting colleagues in Early Help and Schools. Handling confidential information and monitoring shared team mailboxes and working to deadlines is essential to this role. We are a friendly dynamic team, which takes pride in everything we do. Our Business Support Assistants are essential to our service delivery and play a key role in making sure we provide efficient and effective support.
