You'll be instrumental in keeping the production running smoothly and the data accurate, directly contributing to the overall efficiency and output. Responsibilities: * Order Management: * Generate and issue work orders based on production schedules and demands * Initiate and process sales orders, ensuring all details are accurate and complete * Create purchase orders for required materials and services, adhering to company protocols and vendor agreements * Production Monitoring: * Monitor and ensure adherence to production plans, making necessary adjustments as required * Communicate with shop-floor personnel to gather real-time data, ensuring current and accurate reflections in the MRP system * Data Integrity: * Maintain and update accurate data in relevant systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility * Supplier Coordination: * Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, addressing any issues that may arise to prevent production delays Your skills and experience: * Proficiency in MRP systems essential * Strong MS Excel experience * Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams * Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry trends * Previous experience in a planning or procurement role is highly desirable We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
