GSL Education are seeking a SEND Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in Nottingham. This role offers the opportunity to deliver tailored lessons, provide targeted support for pupils with SEND, and foster an inclusive, positive, and nurturing classroom environment. Responsibilities as a SEND Primary Teacher: Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND. Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. Monitor pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all pupils. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support for pupils. Maintain high standards of classroom management, safeguarding, and pupil welfare. Requirements for SEND Primary Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Experience teaching pupils with SEND is highly desirable. Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. Empathy, patience, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of learners. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
