Business Development Manager

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset (office-based with regional travel)
Salary: £30,000–£36,000 + Uncapped Commission
OTE: £50,000–£60,000
Plus: Personal & Company Performance Bonuses
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
Travel: Somerset & Bath (face-to-face client meetings)
Start Date: February 2026

Driver Hire Bridgwater is entering an exciting new phase of growth following the continued success of our award-winning office. We are now looking for a Business Development Manager to take ownership of regional growth and play a key role in shaping our next stage of expansion.

This is a senior, consultative sales role for someone who enjoys building high-value relationships, leading conversations at decision-maker level, and driving sustainable commercial growth.

You’ll be trusted to operate with autonomy, represent the brand professionally across the region, and develop long-term partnerships—not chase short-term wins.

The Role – Strategic Business Development & Relationship Growth

As Business Development Manager, you will:

Lead strategic business development across the region

Build and grow a high-value portfolio of regional clients

Conduct regular face-to-face meetings to deepen relationships and identify opportunities

Use a consultative, solutions-led approach to understand business challenges and add value

Drive revenue growth through account expansion, upselling, and cross-selling

Increase brand presence and market penetration across key local sectors

This role is about quality conversations, long-term partnerships, and commercial ownership.

About You

This role will suit you if you:

Are an experienced B2B sales or business development professional

Enjoy consultative selling and relationship-led growth

Are commercially astute and confident negotiating at senior level

Are comfortable managing a pipeline, forecasts, and KPIs

Thrive in a role with autonomy, accountability, and visibility

Want to make a genuine impact in a growing, high-performing office

Experience in transport, logistics, or a service-led environment is highly desirable.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

What You’ll Get

Salary of £30,000–£36,000

Uncapped commission with realistic OTE of £50,000–£60,000
