SEN Teaching Assistant Role
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for teaching assistants and higher-level teaching assistants to work in Special Educational Needs schools across the Lichfield/Staffordshire area.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support and classroom-based learning to pupils with SEN.
* Assist with lessons and activities as directed by teaching staff.
* Support pupils to access the curriculum and participate in class routines.
Engagement and Availability
* Competitive pay rates £90 - £100 per day depending on experience/qualifications.
* Full time, Part time and day-to-day roles available.
* Roles starting ASAP and after the Christmas break.
Qualifications and Experience
* Prior experience preferred but not essential.
* Candidates with school/education-based experience, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistants, University Graduates, Sports Coaches, Support workers/care workers, or Aspiring Teachers are encouraged to apply.
Vetting and Compliance
* As part of safer recruitment guidelines, all applicants will be subject to standard vetting checks: 2 employment references; an enhanced DBS check on the update service; applicants who have lived outside the UK for 6 months or more in the last 5 years will be required to present an Overseas Criminal Check (police check).

* All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
