Key Responsibilities Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle safely and responsibly in compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies. Deliver goods promptly and efficiently to customers across assigned routes within North Lanarkshire and neighbouring regions. Conduct thorough pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and report any defects or issues immediately. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Load and unload goods safely, ensuring cargo is secure and undamaged during transit. Communicate effectively with warehouse and dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment. Represent Lathams Limited professionally at all times, providing excellent customer service. Candidate Requirements Valid Class 2 HGV driving licence with a clean driving record. Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles in a distribution or warehouse environment is highly desirable. Good knowledge of North Lanarkshire and surrounding areas. Strong commitment to safety and compliance with transport regulations. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure. Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner. Physically fit and able to load/unload goods as required.
