Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teacher with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Our inclusive school in Newham is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join our team starting in September 2025. What You’ll Be Doing

As a SEND Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:

* Planning and Delivering Tailored Lessons: Adapt the curriculum to meet the specific needs of students with SEND, ensuring that each child has access to a meaningful and engaging learning experience.
* Supporting Individual Development: Work closely with students, providing targeted support to help them make progress both academically and socially.
* Collaboration with Support Staff: Work alongside teaching assistants, specialists, and other professionals to create a holistic support plan for each child.
* Monitoring and Assessing Progress: Regularly assess students' progress, adapting strategies as necessary, and setting achievable targets to ensure ongoing development.
* Fostering an Inclusive Classroom Environment: Create a safe and welcoming space for all students, where differences are celebrated, and every child feels valued.
* Building Strong Relationships with Parents: Engage with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress and working together to support their development.
* Contributing to Whole-School Initiatives: Participate in school-wide programs that promote inclusion and the well-being of all students.


What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a SEND Teacher who:

* Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Has experience teaching students with SEND and a deep understanding of different special educational needs.
* Is passionate about inclusion and committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
* Demonstrates a strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies and how to implement them effectively in the classroom.
* Has excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Is a team player, eager to collaborate with other staff members and external agencies to provide the best possible outcomes for students.
* Has a proactive and flexible attitude, with a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for all students.
