Senior Implementation Consultant
Shrewsbury Full-time Apply directly
At Youwe, we help international brands master the complex maze of digital growth. We are looking for an Implementation Consultant to bridge the gap between business needs and high-end technical execution, ensuring our clients stay ahead in a fast-paced market.
Your role as an Implementation Consultant
You are the architectural link between our clients and our multidisciplinary delivery teams, combining consultative thinking with technical understanding. You’ll play a key role in shaping solutions that stand up not just at go-live, but long into the future. From pre-sales to go-live, you lead workshops to extract business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions, with a heavy focus on Pimcore (PIM, DAM, MDM) and data architecture. You don’t just hand over a project; you support developers, advise on AI-driven automation, and challenge client assumptions to ensure their IT landscape—from ERP integrations to data governance—is built for long-term growth.
Who You Are
1. A Technical Translator: You’re comfortable leading conversations with clients, explaining complex concepts in clear language, and documenting solutions in a way that teams can actually build from.
2. An Agency Enthusiast: You enjoy working in an agency environment where no two projects are the same, and where solutions are shaped together with designers, developers, and fellow consultants.
3. Analytical & Proactive: You look beyond surface requirements, think in systems and data flows, and are interested in how automation and AI can improve processes and outcomes - even if you’re still developing depth in this area.
What You Have
4. Experience: 5+ years as an Implementation or Technical Consultant, ideally within a digital agency or consultancy.
5. Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with Pimcore or comparable enterprise platforms (e.g. PIM, DAM, CMS, commerce or data platforms), plus a solid understanding of APIs, integrations, and system architecture.
6. Data & AI DNA: A deep understanding of data governance and migrations, with a strong affinity for AI-driven enrichment and automation.
7. Education: A degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Data Science.
What You Get
We believe in growing smart. We offer a culture that balances high performance with high flexibility:
8. Flexibility & Freedom: Hybrid work (60/40 from our Shrewsbury or Leeds hubs), flexible hours, and 4 weeks of remote work per year from anywhere.
9. Health & Future: Fully covered private health insurance (Vitality Health) and a comprehensive pension scheme.
10. Growth Culture: A dedicated learning budget and "learning time off" to keep you at the forefront of AI and E-commerce tech.
11. Work-Life Balance: 24 vacation days (plus loyalty days) and a fully stocked office with lunch and snacks to keep you fuelled.
