We are offering an opportunity for you to join us as a Fire Extinguisher Technician in the Enniskillen area. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
* Service and maintain fire safety equipment for our public and private sector clients, in line with relevant standards.
* Complete paperwork and provide certification for client premises.
* Manage and attend to call-out requests in the area.
* Supply and install new portable firefighting equipment and signage in client premises.
* Attend staff meetings, toolbox talks, and undertake staff training to enhance your skills.
Basic Duties Include
* Understand fire classifications and appropriate extinguishers and travel distances.
* Weigh different types of extinguishers and change cartridges.
* Safely change O-Rings and tamper seals on extinguishers.
* Label extinguishers and complete service labels with YOM, Due Test, Service Type, and Equipment Numbering.
* Replace serviceable parts like horns and automatic powders.
* Install signs with silicone, complete discharge tests, and refill extinguishers.
* Use SDS drills, drill drivers, impact drivers safely.
* Mount equipment securely on various surfaces.
* Commission new equipment and inspect fire hose reels.
* Perform van checks, use the app for job management, and complete timesheets accurately.
