Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £44k
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.30pm
Overview
Opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site, supporting plant reliability through fault finding, PPM and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to breakdowns, diagnosing both electrical and mechanical faults
* Fault find across PLCs, drives, motors, sensors and control systems
* Carry out mechanical repairs across hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, bearings and gearboxes
* Deliver planned preventative maintenance across site equipment
* Support installation and commissioning of machinery
* Identify root causes and implement reliability improvements
* Work closely with production to minimise downtime
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow HSE and LOTO procedures
About You
* Time served Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
* Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Multi-skilled capability with strong fault finding across both disciplines
* Able to read and interpret electrical schematics
* 18th Edition desirable
* Proactive, team-focused approach
