Main Responsibilities
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Commercial teams to drive customer-centric innovation
* Define and execute the engineering strategy to scale Veygo over the next 5 years
* Build and support empowered, high-performing engineering teams
* Scale and evolve a cloud-native, distributed architecture with best-in-class observability and automation.
* Embed agentic and independent-agent paradigms into our platform and product capabilities.
* Champion engineering excellence through continuous delivery, clean code, and robust governance.
* Establish and uphold elite standards in security, reliability, and operational excellence
Essential Skills and Experience
* Deep expertise in engineering high-scale, distributed systems.
* Proven experience working with product, data, design and commercial functions to scale a business and a passion for delivering measurable customer value
* Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on technical problem‑solving.
* Proven experience architecting and operating cloud‑native, event‑driven platforms (preferably AWS or GCP).
* Demonstrated ability to adopt or pioneer agentic software patterns and orchestrated autonomous systems.
* Strong track record of running cross-functional teams in agile, fast-paced environments.
* Solid understanding of engineering governance, reliability, and continuous improvement
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of technical and business stakeholders.
* Comfortable working in a hybrid setup and supporting distributed teams.
* Lead with humility, curiosity, and a commitment to high standards.
