What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you passionate about serving great food to young people? If so, come and join Fleetdown Primary Academy as one of our Catering Assistants. The role is for 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 10am - 2pm, 38 weeks per year, term time only. The salary is £24,513 full time equivalent, pro-rata to an actual annual salary of £11,254.04.
Reporting to the Chef Manager, you will play an essential part in ensuring our food service is the best that it can be.
Responsibilities
* Be flexible and adaptable with duties that include basic food preparation, serving pupils and staff, washing up, and helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.
Qualifications and requirements
* Experience of working in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.
* Willingness to undertake training (training paid) and to wear provided uniform.
* Open to applicants seeking a better work‑life balance and greater flexibility.
