As a Principal Civil Maritime Engineer, you'll play a vital role in maritime engineering on Transformational Programmes for UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in maritime engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Cities & Development. We deliver industry-leading maritime solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. We currently have opportunities in Peterborough.
Your Purpose:
* Lead a team in technical design following relevant standards and high-quality levels.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones.
* Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring:
* Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer.
* Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design in port and maritime environments.
* Knowledge of civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure supporting operations, berthing, mooring, and transit of people and goods.
* Experience with UK and European design standards, including BS6349.
* Proficiency with FEA packages for design.
