The Role
To provide customer support by ensuring the continuous maintenance of supplied systems and products through the provision of spares and repairs.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Prepare and assist customers with their inquiries and quotations, following organisational management and quality systems, seeking additional technical knowledge when necessary.
* Process repairs received from customers within 24 hours of receipt, in accordance with management and quality standards.
* Process orders ideally within 24 hours of receipt, adhering to organisational procedures.
* Monitor the progression of customer orders, reporting back to customers as needed, and advising of delays or issues within specified timescales.
* Coordinate with dispatch regarding weights and dimensions for orders ready for delivery.
* Negotiate with freight forwarders for the most competitive prices and optimal service.
* Prepare and submit relevant customs documentation, including Airway Bills, Commercial Invoices, Export Licences, Certificates of Origin, EUR1s, and packing lists, complying with applicable laws.
* Manage customer files and perform general administrative tasks.
* Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit within your competence.
