About the Role
Team Leaders at WithYou have a solution-focused attitude and are professional, resilient, and dynamic. This role is based at our Liskeard office and involves working as part of a successful management team on a contract we have been delivering since 2013. The position requires 37.5 hours per week, including occasional Saturday work.
The Team Leader is integral to delivering the variety of services offered by WithYou Cornwall. This large, integrated drug and alcohol service supports Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged populations. You will work in a multidisciplinary team alongside outreach, criminal justice, family and community workers, nurses, doctors, pharmacists, and a secondary rehabilitation service.
We offer interventions such as needle and syringe programmes, harm reduction advice, psychosocial interventions, detoxification, rehabilitation, OST prescribing, and extensive aftercare and employment support. We adopt a multi-agency approach, working with statutory and non-statutory services to increase choices and positive outcomes for service users. The successful candidate will have a positive outlook, a proactive approach to working in a dynamic environment, and a commitment to supporting our dedicated recovery workers.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* ONC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or a commitment to complete within 18 months
Experience
* Experience working in health, social care, or criminal justice settings, with partnership work across agencies
* Successful management experience and team development skills
* Understanding of issues faced by drug/alcohol misusers or clients with mental health challenges
* Knowledge of harm minimisation and psychological health interventions
* Understanding of health and safety, including high-risk assessments
* Resilience, prioritisation, and ability to work under pressure
* Willingness to visit other locations as needed
