Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver a variety of Building Surveying services, including:
* Dilapidations – representing both landlords and tenants, including advice, preparation, and negotiation.
* Technical Due Diligence – conducting surveys and preparing reports for acquisitions, disposals, and refinancing.
* Design & Contract Administration – managing refurbishment and fit‑out projects from inception to completion.
* Project Management and Employer’s Agent duties across commercial projects.
* Defect Analysis, Schedules of Condition, and PPM reporting.
* Reinstatement Cost Assessments and feasibility studies.
* Ensure technical accuracy, quality, and consistency across all project deliverables.
* Manage client relationships, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed timescales, budgets, and expectations.
* Mentor Graduate and Building Surveyors, including providing APC support and technical review.
* Contribute to business development, networking, and client engagement to grow CHPK Group’s Building Surveying offering.
* Actively share knowledge and best practices, promoting technical excellence across the company.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of current legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
* Prepare and present reports, specifications, and cost estimates with professionalism and commercial awareness.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams – including Cost Consultancy, Project Management, and Engineering – to deliver integrated client solutions.

Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
* MRICS qualification (essential).
* Minimum of 5 years’ post‑qualification experience within a consultancy environment.
* Proven experience delivering commercial building surveying services including dilapidations, TDD, and contract administration.
* Experience acting as Project Manager or Employer’s Agent.
* Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC contract suites.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Deltek PIM is advantageous.
* Full UK driving licence.
