Job Description
* Conduct building surveys and inspections to assess conditions and compliance.
* Prepare detailed reports and recommendations on property maintenance and repairs.
* S11 inspections and report writing.
* Oversee construction projects to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
* Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
* Identify and resolve building issues or defects effectively.
* Provide technical advice on construction materials and methods.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation in the not-for-profit sector.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Building Surveyor should have:
* Relevant qualifications in building surveying or a related field.
* Experience in conducting building surveys and inspections.
* Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
