SEMH Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Chatham Location: Chatham Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm Start Date: Immediate Setting: Primary School (SEMH Support)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Chatham. In this role, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs
* Help create a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment
* Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team
* Use de-escalation, emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Support pupils both academically and emotionally throughout the school day
Requirements
* Experience supporting children with SEMH, SEN or behavioural needs
* A calm, patient, resilient and nurturing approach
* Ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils
* DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
