Can you provide a high standard of cleaning within the Hospice clinical and non-clinical areas? If so, we have a great opportunity for a Bank Housekeeping Assistant to join the St Leonard’s team. Working as part of the Housekeeping team, you will follow the cleaning schedules to make sure that all areas of the main Hospice site, including patient areas, are maintained to a high standard. As a Bank Housekeeping Assistant you will also have opportunities to build strong working relationships with other members of the Hospice team, including clinical staff and the facilities team. You will have previous experience of maintaining high standards of cleaning, either in the role of a domestic assistant/ housekeeper or in your own property/ home. You will also be motivated to work as part of a team but be able to work alone at times under the supervision of the Housekeeping management team. This is a bank position, therefore shifts will be available on an ad hoc basis and will be to cover holiday/ sickness within the team. Our Housekeeping team normally work between 7am and 4pm (although there is flexibility with start and end times), Monday to Sunday and shift enhancements are applied on weekends and bank holidays.
