SEN Teaching Assistant – Royston (SG8) – Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: 39–40 per week Location: Royston, SG8 Contract Type: Permanent KTS Group is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting in Royston on a full-time, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities: * Support students’ learning, development, and progress across a range of contexts – including the classroom, the local environment, and the wider community. * Work closely with young people with a variety of needs, including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), complex medical needs, and autism. * Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring all students are treated with dignity and respect. * Provide high-quality, person-centred support, helping students achieve their educational and personal goals. * Contribute to a positive, empowering environment and actively participate in all aspects of student care, including personal care and physical intervention when required. * Continuously develop your knowledge of SEN and align with the values of the setting. What We’re Looking For: * Minimum 1 year of experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school (preferably SEN). * Educated to at least Level 2 (or equivalent) in Maths and English. * Passionate about working with children and young people with additional needs. * A proactive, compassionate, and creative individual who sees potential, not disability. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently. * Enthusiastic about outdoor learning and community engagement. * Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students. * Proof of right to work in the UK is required – we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
