Overview

£31,022 – £34,434 per annum plus annual benefits

In this post you will provide a full range of technical and administrative services to the Planning Team to facilitate the efficient and timely processing of planning and other development control applications.


Responsibilities

* You will provide support by maintaining IT and other record systems and act as second-line technical support for enquiries that have been passed through by Customer Services.
* With strong customer service skills, you will advise and resolve enquiries in line with relevant legislation and Council policies and procedures.
* You will liaise with the applicants or their agent regarding submitted planning applications and provide support to officers and customers.
* You will be responsible for maintaining departmental records in order to provide statistical information for monitoring/research purposes.


Qualifications

* 3 GCSEs (including English and Maths)
* effective communication
* administrative, organisational and time/workload management skills
* demonstrated relevant experience within a customer service environment
