Section 42 enquiries - Lead and coordinate safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act, gathering information, assessing risk, and determining protective actions to ensure adults at risk are safe. Risk assessment & protection planning - Complete robust risk assessments, develop multi‑agency protection plans, and monitor outcomes to reduce harm and promote wellbeing Multi‑agency collaboration - Work closely with health, police, providers, and families to share information, chair meetings, and ensure safeguarding duties are fulfilled lawfully and proportionately.
